About Halls

Council of India Societies of Edmonton (CISE) premises - keeping with the motif - are popularly called the "India Center".India Center is situated in the heart of Millwoods Industrial Park and is principally used for sports and recreation; social and community gathering; dance, music and language classes; rehearsals and practices for CISE programs / celebrations; member organizations meeting; drop in center for the youth and seniors; library and reading room; seminars and workshop and many more activities on a routine basis.

India Center has two Halls MAIN HALL and BASEMENT which are rented to member societies and others.


Booking Details


Notes: You can reserve the hall for up to four months from today's date. If you wish to confirm the booking beyond this four-month period, please visit the CISE Office on Saturdays between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to make the payment and complete the booking process.

Booking Policy:

To reserve a hall, please initially place a hold on it. You will have 14 days to complete the payment and confirm your booking. If payment is not received within 14 days, your hold request will be automatically canceled, and you will need to rebook.

If multiple bookings are made for the same date, the CISE Manager will call you. In this case, you are required to make the payment as soon as possible to confirm your booking.

Hall booking is confirmed after you have made the payment. Therefore, for payment and booking confirmation, you must visit the CISE Hall for paperwork.

In the scenario where two people, "A" and "B," have placed a hold on the same date and time (with A holding first and B holding second for 14 days), if B wishes to confirm their booking, we will contact A by phone first. We will request that "A" confirms their booking and arranges payment within 24 hours. If "A" refuses or fails to make the payment within the given 24-hour period, we will proceed with the booking for "B" and cancel the hold for "A."
